Dr. Boches completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies and Philosophy at Boston College before earning her veterinary degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Following graduation, she spent two years practicing small animal general medicine in the Greater Boston area, primarily caring for feline and canine patients. During this time, she discovered her love for emergency medicine and surgery.
Dr. Boches joined VEG in early 2022 and immediately fell in love with the open-concept model and VEG’s commitment to keeping pets and their people together. She completed the NERD Fellowship VEG Newton in 2022 and remained on the Newton team as an emergency doctor. In 2023, she was part of the inaugural class of VEG’s ER Certificate program, further developing her skills in emergency medicine. She was appointed Medical Director of VEG Newton in 2026.
As Medical Director, Dr. Boches is passionate about mentoring new doctors, fostering a collaborative team environment, and encouraging medical excellence. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality emergency care while supporting the people and pets of the community.
