VEG is skilled to handle emergency care for avians, reptiles, and all types of exotic pets.

DO I HAVE TO CALL BEFORE COMING IN?

The veterinarian and nursing staff were absolutely amazing. They were gentle, patient, and so compassionate with both my dog and me. They carefully explained their findings, answered all of my questions, and made sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for. Their kindness and professionalism made a scary situation so much easier. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my girl!

Paddington says to thank everyone who pet him and gave him all the attention he demanded. The staff are the reason why Paddington does not associate VEG on Rampart as a negative experience. Thank you to everyone’s help and all the love given to him on our *latest* visit 😭. Thankfully nothing serious this time. Realizing right now that I don’t recall my nurses/techs names’, I am so sorry. I think I was just happy that Paddy was happy and completely forgot to get names. The two ladies kept us updated and offered help throughout our entire stay. They were also so chill with our strange encounter; someone I knew walked in with their own pet concerns. They helped ease those parents immediately. Afterwards our areas merged (while still separate) and the nurse/tech were so good about keeping us updated but keeping patient info confidential. I was able to witness them, and DVM Jones, treat the pet and parents with compassion, offering comfort and understanding throughout, offering options for payments without judgement to the parent’s ability to pay. Unfortunately, the fur babe’s diagnosis was too severe and treatment and recovery would be difficult, so the difficult decision was made for comfort. I hate it came to the conclusion it came to. I could tell the staff were affected, and yet they did the switch up everyone in the medical does where they put their emotions aside and made sure that each fur babe and parent they encountered got the level of care they deserved. The staff even helped me when we were discharged and had my dog and took the other family’s *literal* baby so they could say their goodbyes. We were no longer a patient but they still checked on us and gave Paddington tons of love. The staff at VEG on Rampart are something special, because while it was all tough for the other family, in the end they managed to have the other parent’s laughing. *Thankful for anyone who remembered Paddy from previous visits. You fill his bucket and boost his ego, and this point his name should be Diva Paddington.*

I cannot thank Dr. Deal, Tiana and the entire team at VEG enough for the care they showed my sinior rabbit and me during such a stressful time. From the moment we walked in, I felt the compassion, honesty, and dedication from everyone involved. What stood out to me the most was their transparency and incredible teamwork. They recognized who was best qualified to take over my rabbit’s treatment, and everyone worked together seamlessly to make sure my rabbit received the best possible care. Even while handling multiple emergencies, the staff remained calm, communicated with each other, and made sure every patient and pet parent felt supported. Seeing a team work with so much respect, kindness, and collaboration was truly impressive. It is rare to find a veterinary team with this level of communication and compassion, and I only hope to find a primary veterinarian with a staff like this in the future. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for treating my rabbit with such love and care. You made a very difficult moment so much easier. ♥️
