  • From tails to scales, if it fits through the door - we’ll treat it! Some of the common exotic pet problems we treat include:, egg binding, gastrointestinal disease, issues related to husbandry (housing and diet), breathing issues, skin/scale/feather issues, and trauma.

24/7 ER VET CARE

  • A highly trained emergency veterinarian is always on site to perform critical procedures when your pet needs them most. Our veterinary team is skilled in a wide range of emergency surgeries, including foreign body removal, surgery for GDV (twisted stomach), pyometra surgery (removal of an infected uterus), emergency C-sections, and splenectomies (removal of the spleen).

  • In some cases, your pet may not need surgery! Our expert emergency vets can often remove foreign objects safely and gently using endoscopy — a non-invasive procedure that helps your pet feel better faster.

  • Performed on site to provide same-day results on x-rays, point-of-care ultrasounds, and complete abdominal ultrasounds (available at most locations).

  • Diagnosing your pet’s condition may sometimes require bloodwork or other lab tests. At our hospitals, we perform these tests in-house — meaning faster results and less waiting for you and your pet. Some of the tests we perform on site include: complete blood count, chemistry, point-of-care infectious disease testing, cytology, and urinalysis.

  • The best care starts with veterinarians who include you in the conversation. We’ll discuss treatment options with you so you can make informed decisions for your pet’s care. Some treatments include: fluid therapy, oxygen therapy, transfusions (red blood cells and plasma), and feeding tubes. If your pet requires overnight hospitalization, you’re welcome to stay too. You’ll have access to wifi, snacks, beverages, and a pillow and blanket. Our staff will make sure you’re as comfortable as possible so you can stay close to your pet’s side.
